1. Current status
The application does not currently provision cameras, issue camera access keys, stream video or audio, expose a live-view button, or store camera footage. Current bookings do not enable camera access.
2. No implied consent
Creating an account, creating a booking or accepting a booking does not provide consent to camera monitoring. Parents and Caregivers must follow applicable Nigerian law, including the NDPR, for any recording device they arrange independently. AuntyNow does not provide, administer or review that access.
3. Existing household CCTV
If a Parent discloses that household CCTV is present, that disclosure is shared with the assigned Caregiver as part of the safety briefing. The presence of CCTV does not create any obligation on AuntyNow to monitor, store or review footage.
4. Future activation
If an AuntyNow camera feature is introduced in the future, it will require a separate technical implementation, security review, updated privacy notice and explicit, informed consent flow before it is presented as available. Consent will be specific, revocable and documented.
